The Idea Center at Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus, FIFA World Cup 2026 and Miami Dade College hosted a special event to kick off a year-long internship program for students. FIFA is hiring up to 50 full-time interns to work across many functional areas in the lead up to the World Cup next summer.
Representatives from the FIFA recruiting team and Miami leadership were on hand to officially kick off the program, taking students through the various roles, answering questions about the application and interview processes and providing resume support. The College’s MDC Works program pre-vetted and invited 150 students to attend this special event.
These paid internships are a great opportunity for local students to participate in the world’s biggest sporting event. Internships are available in Transportation, Client Services, Government Relations, Medical Services, Catering, Media Operations & Services, Communications & Public Relations, Competition Management, Logistics, Infrastructure & Technical Services, Safety & Security, Venue Business Strategy, Legal, Sustainability, Fan Operations, Accommodations & Hospitality, Arrivals & Departures, Technology, Finance, Planning & Integration, Events & Entertainment, Facilities, and more.
At the event, students also heard from previous students who interned with FIFA here in Miami, many of whom now have full-time roles or have had their internships extended.
Internship applications are still open to MDC students.
