MIAMI, Oct. 26, 2023 – Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and Miami Dade College (MDC) President Madeline Pumariega will host a press conference at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, to announce a new, groundbreaking partnership that will provide scholarships for county residents. Miami-Dade County is committing nearly $3 million to fund this multi-year initiative, and recently approved the first $750,000 in the fiscal year 2023-24 budget. Working media is welcome.
Mayor Levine Cava and President Pumariega will be joined by members of the Board of County Commissioners, students, and community leaders for this announcement.
