The MDC community warmly welcomed the newest cohort of American Dream Scholars during a pinning ceremony at Hialeah Campus. The event featured a student-led panel discussion. Representatives from various organizations and programs, including the Student Government Association, Phi Theta Kappa, MDC Rising Scholars, Institute for Civic Engagement and Democracy, and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, shared their personal stories.
They spoke about how on-campus activities and clubs have enhanced their networking opportunities and enriched their college experience. The also highlighted opportunities through which students can engage more actively in campus life.
