Miami, Sept. 11, 2023 – Miami Dade College (MDC) has been selected once again among the nation’s Great Colleges to Work For® by ModernThink, LLC. In addition, MDC made the Honor Roll for being recognized in all categories of evaluation. The results were announced at GreatCollegesList.com and will then be distributed on Sept. 15 via a special insert in the Chronicle of Higher Education.

MDC was recognized in the following categories: Job Satisfaction & Support; Compensation & Benefits; Professional Development; Mission & Pride; Supervisor/Department Chair Effectiveness; Confidence in Senior Leadership; Faculty & Staff Well-being; Shared Governance; Faculty Experience; and Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging. The College was also named to the Great Colleges Honor Roll, a status granted to only 42 colleges each year who are highlighted most across the recognition categories.
The featured institutions are based on a survey of 194 colleges and universities. In all, 72 of those institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” recognition for specific best practices and policies.
