Miami, March 17, 2023 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Miami Book Fair, in collaboration with Books & Books, welcomes New York Times bestselling author John Green for an in-person discussion about his latest release, “The Anthropocene Reviewed: Essays on a Human-Centered Planet.” The book is a remarkable symphony of essays that reviews different facets of the human-centered planet on a five-star scale—from the Notes app and sunsets to Canada geese and Penguins of Madagascar.
Green’s gift for storytelling shines throughout this masterful collection. Join us live on stage for a celebration of falling in love with the world. The event will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, at MDC Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami.
Green has been named by Time magazine as one of the most influential people in the world and has received critical acclaim for his previous books, including “The Fault in Our Stars,” which was developed into a major motion picture, and “Turtles All the Way Down.” “The Anthropocene Reviewed” is a deeply moving and insightful collection of personal essays adapted from his popular podcast. The book explores the current geologic age in which humans have profoundly reshaped the planet and its biodiversity.
