MDC President to speak during panel discussion on the future of education and CityCoins will raffle one million MiamiCoin at MDC booth
Miami, April 14, 2022 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) trailblazing technology, innovation and entrepreneurial programs will take center stage once again at eMerge Americas 2022, April 18 – 19, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Participants can stop by the MDC booth to learn how the College is partnering with leading global tech companies and industry leaders to prepare Miamians for the careers of the present and future. This year, MDC President Madeline Pumariega will present on the panel, The Future of Education is Being Shaped by Tech & Innovation, on Monday, April 18 at 2:40 p.m., to discuss how higher education is keeping up with innovation and what the future holds.
Throughout the two-day conference, CityCoins will raffle one million MiamiCoin at the MDC booth. MDC is collaborating with CityCoins, Venture Miami and Stacks Foundation to provide educational opportunities and experiential learning for Miamians to learn about MiamiCoin and build projects that use its protocol. The first of these opportunities will be a free 6-week MiamiCoin Developer Camp that teaches participants how to build smart contracts on Clarity.
