Miami, March 15, 2022 – Miami Dade College (MDC) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Speaker Series presents Succeeding in the Job Market with Applied Collegiate Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Projects featuring Dr. Beverly Wright at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, at MDC’s The Idea Center. Wright is the Chief Analytics Strategist at Axis Group and Executive Director & Clinical Professor of Center for Applied Business Analytics at University of South Carolina. The event will focus on how to ingest and apply experiential learning to go from not having experience in tech to competitive AI/ML practitioners. This event is free and open to the public.
The AI Speaker Series at MDC aims to provide students, professionals and community members with first-hand knowledge of the latest AI trends and practices by inviting renowned AI professionals to share their experience and discuss how AI is impacting all industries.
Wright has more than 30 years leading and delivering data science and analytics solutions through corporate, consulting, nonprofit, and academic experiences. She has served as executive, leader, and advisor of data science and analytics teams to help provide solutions for solving complex business problems. As Chief Analytics Strategist for Axis Group, Wright provides guidance to a variety of businesses and organizations to frame and solve critical issues using modeling and advanced analytics. She also serves as Executive Director of Center for Applied Business Analytics at University of South Carolina, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Analytics.
