MDC to Illuminate Freedom Tower Blue for Autism Awareness Day and Child Abuse Prevention Month April 2

Miami, March 12, 2021 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) will illuminate its historic Freedom Tower blue on April 2, in support of the Dan Marino Foundation for National Autism Awareness Day and National Child Abuse Prevention Month, in collaboration with Amigos for Kids.

MDC will join hundreds of thousands of landmarks, buildings, homes and communities around the world  to recognize people with autism and those who love and support them on April 2, Autism Awareness Day, to Light It Up Blue. To learn more, visit www.danmarinofoundation.org.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month in April encourages communities to increase awareness about child and family well-being, and work together to implement effective strategies that support families and prevent child abuse and neglect.
