The Confucius Institute at MDC Presents Forum on Chinese Migration to the Caribbean Basin – Jamaica and Cuba

Miami, February 10, 2016 – The acclaimed Confucius Institute at Miami Dade College (MDC), in collaboration with the Chinese Cultural Foundation of Miami, will present the 5th Annual Forum on Chinese Migration to the Caribbean Basin: Restoration and Challenge in Jamaica and Cuba. This event will take placeSaturday, Feb. 13, starting at 1:30 p.m. at MDC Kendall Campus as part of the Confucius Institute’s Chinese New Year celebration. Free and open to the public.

Guest speakers include Consul General of Jamaica in Miami Franz Hall; Dr. Keith Lowe; Robert Hew, Chinese Benevolent Society of Jamaica; Lukkee Chong, Frame by Frame Productions; and Dr. Martin Tsang from the University of Miami.
