Renowned Speakers to Inspire the Graduates at Miami Dade College’s Commencement Ceremonies April 29

Miami, March 22, 2017 – With the potential to empower, encourage and inspire, commencement addresses are one of the most memorable and beloved moments for graduates and their families. On April 29, Miami Dade College (MDC) will host five commencement ceremonies where thousands of enthusiastic MDC graduates will hear from top leaders in various fields.

This year’s speakers include Dr. Joseph E. Aoun, president of Northeastern University, who will speak at the day’s first ceremony for the North Campus; Mr. Robert E. Sanchez, chairman and CEO of Ryder System, Inc.,  who will deliver remarks at the InterAmerican and Homestead Campuses ceremony; Dr. Brian K. Fitzgerald, CEO of The Business-Higher Education Forum, who will speak to graduates at the Wolfson and West Campuses ceremony; Dr. Freeman A. Hrabowski III, president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, who will address the Medical and Hialeah Campuses ceremony; and Dr. Donna E. Shalala, trustee professor of Political Science and Health Policy at the University of Miami, will deliver remarks at the closing ceremony of the day for Kendall Campus graduates.
