Miami, March 21, 2017- Miami Dade College will offer a Financial Literacy Workshop, sponsored by the TIAA, on Friday, March 31, at MDC’s Wolfson Campus. The workshop is free and open to the public.
TIAA, in conjunction with EverFi, will offer two sessions for students (one in English and one in Spanish) which will be recorded and livestreamed through WebEx. The English session is scheduled from 9 – 9:50 a.m., and the Spanish session is scheduled from 11 – 11:50 a.m.
In addition, a facilitator session for 50 student services personnel members will be offered in the afternoon from 1– 2 pm. The facilitators will be trained on financial literacy to present the information in both group settings or during individual meetings with students and parents.
